Rosemary Oil for Hair: What It Is, What It Does, and How to Use It
• What It Is: Rosemary oil is a natural oil derived from the leaves of the rosemary plant. It is commonly used in hair care products and is known for its nourishing and revitalizing properties.
• What It Does: Rosemary oil helps strengthen hair follicles, reduce hair loss, and promote new hair growth. It also revitalizes the scalp, increases blood circulation, and can help reduce issues like dandruff. Due to its antiseptic properties, it may also reduce the risk of infections on the scalp.
• How to Use It: You can apply rosemary oil directly to the scalp by massaging it in. For better absorption, leave the oil on the scalp for at least 30 minutes before washing your hair with shampoo. Additionally, you can add a few drops to your shampoo or conditioner. It is recommended to use it 1-2 times a week.
